    Not really horror but I read Something Wicked This Way Comes last October and absolutely loved it. I’m a big fall season guy and love Halloween so it was everything I wanted

    i feel that. If you dont mind comics i would say alan moore is the only one who did lovecraft's stories and characters any justice with Providence

    also for comics i can't recommend Junji Ito enough. a lot of people call him the japanese lovecraft (fucked up creatures, cosmic dread and helplessness)

    Oh yeah i read Junji Ito a bunch i don't know why I didn't include him Tomie got to be my fav from him, taught me not to trust these hoes, but also made me fall for these e girls

    I'd say there's multiple places you could start. Maybe something like Pet Sematary or 'Salem's Lot because they're not crazy long and easy to get into. But honestly, I think his magnum opus is The Stand, and it's timely af right now (it's about a superflu that wipes out like 90+ percent of humanity). But it's his longest book, I think. Worth it though if you stick with it. You also can't go wrong with The Shining or Misery. There are tons of great ones to recommend -- really just scratching the surface here.
