blasphemy my favorite pac song
imo none of his contemporaries at the time could make music as layered and emotional as him
he was on another level with his artistry when he wanted to guide a track in a certain way/message

U ain’t said 1 lie!!
I love blasphemy too, that whole Makaveli album in a league of its own in hiphop, rawest hiphop album oat
Imo he has yet to be touched substance wise, closest would be Kendrick but he takes huge gaps between music drops unlike pac who was literally a machine who made classics in 20 min multiple times a day, on a daily f***ing basis.

yeah, that's why i think he has such a connection with people who don't even listen to hip-hop like that, normal non-hip-hop people are able to grasp onto the emotional strength and relatability of his tracks
That Og when we ride on our enemies hard but I like the other beat more Pac sound twice as hard

man honestly i don't even care about listening to the re-released pac tracks with the new beats, they're not good imo, i prefer the OGs
only track they didn't really touch was late night but they put a fatal from outlawz verse on it and it was pretty good
how could i forget this, such a damn classic
"Am I cold, or is it just I sold my soul?
Addicted to these streets, never find true peace I'm told
Come take my body, God, don't let me suffer any longer!
Smoke a pound of marijuana, so I know it ain't long
Where is the end to all my misery, is there a close?
I suppose that's why I murder my foes; when thugs cry"

I agree with you about rather hearing Pac's OG songs instead of the re-released Pac tracks with the new beats. I would probably say the only newer Pac beats that I liked more than the originals were "Mama's Just a Little Girl", "Street Fame" and "Hellrazor".
That's pretty much it.

Blasphemy is actually my favorite Pac song as well. Pac must've been having an outer body experience when he made that song, he was snapping on that s***. All 3 verses were insane.

yeah the hell razor remix is definitely better, but thats cause it was done by Jonny j frequent 2pac collaborator

hellrazor was quincy jones' son who was pac's producer too. he also did a bunch of original classics with pac like 2 live and die in la, niggaz nature, letter 2 the president, heaven aint hard 2 find etc
