Looks very promising and reviews have been great so far. Been a while since I was hyped for a Netflix movie

Hope this won't suck as much as I think it will. Netflix movies feel like a waste of time.

These were originally made by another company and meant to run in theaters, until covid happened. So they shouldn't have much of the usual Netflix stuff.

I hope these are good, I've been looking forward to them.

I dug it for the most part and will have me coming back for the next 2 so there's that...I guess one issue I have is with the 2nd one being in the 70's are they just gonna leave the ending of this first one on that cliffhanger or eventually go back to it to wrap things up in the 3rd (in which case what year will that take place in I wonder)

I think both the 2nd and 3rd will have scenes that go back to this case, at least that's what I took from the Trilogy trailer

Its going to start present day and the C Berman chick is gonna be like "back in my day" and then the next like hour will be a flashback to the camp

I liked the unexpectedness of it all but also kinda pissed because I feel lke Kate and Simon were the most entertaining characters lol main chick was cool too and her brother but thought Sam was a little too whiny and wishy washy with everything...that being said Simon and Kate also broke a lot of "horror movie rules" such as the d\*\*\*\* and occasional obliviousness so I suppose the writing was on the wall in a sense

part 1 was cool, soundtrack was nice. maybe a little too much school/hospital/supermarket in the second half. would’ve liked some more small town rural/suburban vibes but a good watch regardless. def in for the next parts
