I don’t think people realize that if they want frank to release albums every 2 years and get their vinyl’s shipped right on time, they don’t really want frank to be independent.

Personally, i think frank is one of the greatest artists out right now. Hes earned the privilege to not only take as much time as he wants to make his art, but also have a little more room for error as he figures out the best way to operate on the business side.

other merch (clothing etc) shipped in like 2 weeks

the stuff was probably going to end up being around 3 months late for people, which of course isn’t acceptable

but covid definitely exasperated the situation, and i dont get why yall suddenly forget about a pandemic going on when you’re reminded about frank ocean vinyls you havent gotten yet

Idk how he’s doing it atm, but with endless vinyls he used some company and they f***ed up nearly every package. I have 2 copies and both are banged up. I can see why he wouldn’t trust the job with someone else. And the bigger more professional companies probably won’t work with him cause they’re under contracts with labels that are now blackballing him. Am I off?
