I bought one of those knockoff DX Racers recently, S***s been pretty good after sitting on a wooden chair for 8 years. only $135 too. Unless you wanna pay $400 for a chair

Office chairs are actually designed to be comfortable. “Gaming” chairs for some reason are just racing car seats with wheels. The “U” shaped bottom is not meant to be comfortable, it’s supposed to keep the driver from moving while he races lol. No idea why that became the standard for gaming chairs

Check craigslist for offices liquidating their furniture, not uncommon to find a chair from the above designers for 10% of its retail price. I've done this multiple times

i have a used herman miller aeron classic, bought it for around $325 last year.

don't regret it at all.

but check out steelcase too, specifically their leap series. some people prefer them.
