This game is definitely back heavy. After reuniting with freya it feels like nothing notable really happens. Maybe I’m tripping tho cuz I’ve been sick af during most of my playthru

I thought it was front heavy tbh
Everything after brok gets killed is so rushed. The Ragnarok mission at the end is like 1 hour and you just quickly fight thor and then Odin 2x in fights that aren’t really cinematic at all. Baldur fights in 2018 are better easily imo.
They mentioned all these armies helping and then the dwarves and helheim don’t show up. You get the elves and the Valkyrie’s.
This should have been a trilogy

Yeah honestly the pacing is shot. Really wish they would’ve done a better job, felt like I was in vanaheim for ages too

After finishing it earlier today this is basically my ending thoughts
Still a great game but wished they fleshed that war a little bit more… imagine the third game beginning with kratos in the trenches

I was just expecting more at the end. The visuals are awesome with having world serpent and srtur in the background and you’re just in the trenches f***ing s*** up, but I think it should have been more
It could have been a 2-3 hour thing before you finally get to Thor + Odin fights and those fights should be more epic and cinematic. Odin is pretty much the Zeus of this mythology after all
Would have been cool if you had to run through even more enemies and just a bunch of mini bosses along the way in the trenches before Odin + Thor. Travelers, Valkyrie’s, soul eaters etc. it should be a diverse amount of enemies seeing as Odin has prepped for years and should have his defenses ready

Which makes it harder to believe Tyr was the GOW of the Norse
How obvious was it that Thor was going to become 'good' and die? I knew it from the moment Odin was like "you're better when you're drunk" and some other s*** he said. Smh, story could have been way better.

And since you brought up Tyr, the REAL tyr should have been involved in the final quest. Story wise and pacing wise he should have showed up and surprised the f*** out of everyone. Somehow he busts out of Niflheim or someone goes and fetches him, or you bust him out sometime before the final quest

Exactly
Took down hrolf and gna last night
Only 3-4 more trophies for the plat
Hrolf was easier than expected. Gna on the other hand was more ferocious and had some great combos she’d chain together
S*** was amazing tbh. Still not over the norms scene. The fact that they couldnt ignore faith even when they thought they could was scary AF.
That scene was great

I agree that the story wasn’t perfect but the father/son dynamic between kratos and atreus was so well done that I forgive every shortcoming.
I'm so impressed with this story...it touches on so many subjects
Grief, prophecy, trauma, growth, love, trust, purpose, alcoholism, mental abuse. And so much more.
That scene where Thrud was talking to her father after his drinking binge hits really hard if you have a parent who struggles with addiction
Just got the plat
Finding the real tyr was so underwhelming lol
There was more effort put into the random Mimir stories and other casual conversation as you’re free roaming
You surprisingly find out the real tyr has been alive in the prison the entire time, you tell him Odin is dead and Asgard is gone - and he just says I need to be alone to process this information
He sits on the floor. That’s it.

That's not it lol, but it still might not be what you want

I know you can find him chillin at the spark of the world but is there anything else?

You can find him in every realm I think

I heard it’s best to find tyr as soon as you finish the game because you’ll run into him various times through out the realms
