Bro f*** off
We all want a Godzilla solo film with destroyah or biollante
Part of me is lowkey hoping the GvK title is a placeholder and that really just means this next movie deals with the fallout but only on Godzilla or Kong's side
Thank god it’s the same director
This guy knows how to make a monster movie
GvK was low key a classic, if it had a non pandemic release it would have made so much more money
bruh that movie is so damn good
Destroyah plz
na not yet. we need to see Gigan and Hedorah way before Destroyah
Need a brutal Godzilla vs Kong where they both end up dead and in pieces by the end of it

U know wassup
shouldve been another solo Godzilla movie and then this movie but in either way
im ALMOST done going through all the movies i finally got to millenium
we all know they’re just gonna team up to save the world anyway so it’s almost irrelevant.
They’re gonna have a tied match and that’s it
this post aged awfully cuz Zilla beat the f*** out of Kong and would’ve killed him but chose to spare him

I love Kong but Godzilla literally took a nuke to the face in the last one doesn't make sense he'd lose to a giant gorilla
If this is about Godzilla Jr
man I’ve just started watching these movies
1) Kong: Skull Island - totally fine 6/10
2) Godzilla (2014) - way better than expected, really enjoyed it & great writing to have minimal monster scenes 8/10
3) Godzilla: KOM - absolute cheeks 3/10 smashy smashy monster monster, what I expected from the beginning. Dogshit.

GvK expands on the things that worked with KOTM (the action) and keeps the s***ty human subplot to a minimum. Basically the human plot is a vehicle for monster fights

just firing it up now - hope it’s worth powering through the last 3 this week
Watched these all during pandemic and my favorite was the Skull Island Kong movie. Doesn’t seem to be consensus on here but had some great shots in it. Even the opening was hard

For these films i wanted smashy smashy monster lmao if i want something deep i'll listen to Zulawski characters babble on for 3 hours

My fav as well even though i prefer Godzilla as a character
Godzilla 2014 had the best directing, scale and story (even though the story wasn't all that here either, still better than the later entries)
Kong Skull Island overall the most fun and my fav cast. Colorful color palette was great for Skull Island and loved all the wildlife and monstrosities (Samuel L Jackson facing off with Kong what more do you want?)
Godzilla King Of The Monsters had some great moments, but everything that focused on the family was absolute trash. I loved tf out of this version of Ghidorah though. The shot of him waking up all the titans (still feels weird calling them that) made him look straight up demonic and a badass
Godzilla vs Kong had the best fights, but man the story is a HUGE mess and the technologic advancements they made in a single film was too much of a leap... even for these kind of films lmao it made no sense
I enjoy them all for what they are. They always deliver on the actual monster stuff and that's what i'm here for. Always wanted a cinematic universe like this in modern times
