    I used to go to the gym with a friend now i cant, but i dont know what to do when i go alone, i would copy what he did before, how yall build he confidence and know what to do when yall go to the gym by urself

    Its been months since i worked out forgot the routine idk any good workout routines

    Just find a beginner routine on bodybuilding.com or something.

    And don’t worry about looking lost or out of place, I’ve been going to the gym consistently for years and still walk around aimlessly sometimes lol. No one is watching you or cares what you’re doing

    barbell squat
    barbell bench press
    barbell deadlift
    barbell shoulder press

    ez routine

    just sprinkle in some other u see ppl doing at the gym

    matter of fact
    look at what other ppl are doing at the gym and dont feel afraid to ask
    make new gym friends

  • just watch some youtube stuff and go, trust me literally NO ONE is worried about you their. they're prolly feeling the same way you are.

    i started going as a FRAIL mother f***er, even just going there consistently should warrant respect and not a side eye

    you're overthinking

    look up a basic push pull legs routine

    Definitely get into it. You will learn fairly rapidly.

    The only time I ever pay attention to anyone else is asking how many sets they got left or if they're using x piece of equipment

    Everyone is focused on their workout, believe me, their just like you

    It's a question of habit, i bet that after a few times alone you will love it even more then with a friend

    Also isn't there any trainer at your gym that can help you with your routine?

    Keep with the same routine as you were doing with your friend was doing that’s what I did at first after my friends got me started

    Maybe go during quieter hours at first also to ease your anxiety

    Then just keep going and make it a habit
