CaliisthemissionAnybody here ever had someone try to run up a shipping cost on them after a purchase? I got some boots a week ago and now the guy I bought them from said that the shipping (he's from Europe, I'm in US) is gonna be like 60 euros and that he wants me to either get a refund or come to an agreement on a new price. Ion feel like I should be the one to front the bill for this since he's the one who accepted an international offer, but I really want these boots and don't wanna be a d*** to the guy.
speaking as a seller sometimes this does happen, nothing much that can be done except offer a refund or come up with a new price. depends on how bad you want the item. doubt the seller's tryna scam or anything.

Yeah I know the guy isn't trying to scam me, I just think in this type of situation the seller should be the one to eat the dissonance in cost since he had already agreed to an offer that he knew was international. I think we're gonna come to a resolution, just wish it didn't come to this point.

i think he means when you buy something, there's sales tax now depending on the state.
it sucks as the seller too, because the pp fees account for the total with the sales tax included, but we don't see that money
