  • This just started a day or two ago. I haven鈥檛 dropped it or got it wet but it just started rattling during parts of songs with more bass/volume.

    Apparently this is relatively common and wondering if any of you have encountered this or know a fix?

    that sux bro, does it sound like crackly?

    Assuming it's not some weird Bluetooth connection issue, it could be that the headphone got blown. Although I've never heard of one of those small headphones get blown like that...

    Does the issue travel between devices?

    Take it to the apple store. They will run some tests on it, verify it is liable to be replaced, then give a replacement for free.

    I鈥檝e had it happen to 2 different pairs, it鈥檚 a manufacturing error.

    it鈥檚 normal @op unfortunately lol but they鈥檒l replace it for free. i used to have airpod pros and workout with them and sweat f***s them up long term but apple won鈥檛 admit that

    you just fill out that form and they overnight you a replacement and you send back the rattling one

    Set up an appointment with Apple and they will exchange them. Had it exchanged yesterday for the third time already

    They replace the replacements too? I thought it's just for pairs bought before 2020

    The first time I had this issue was back in 2020, 3 months after I bought them. At that time stores were closed so I had to mail them the malfunctioning one. The several months later in 2021, I faced the same issue and made an appointment. In the store they took both of them for a test even thought I had issue with only one. They came back and told me both were not working properly and gave me a new pair. Now in 2022 I had the same issue once again for the third time but with only right airpod pro. Made an appointment and they took both for a test even thought only one was rattling and came back with new pair. It's getting really annoying that I payed 250 for them and they keep malfunctioning, but I have to give it to Apple for owning up and replacing them, I know other companies wouldn't even bother.

    They replaced my pair I was dealing with the issue. As long as manufactured before Oct 2020. Got a whole new pair free

    Nah just do it this week they could be lame and eventually decide to stop replacing for free. Its easy and quick and then you get working airpods. Mine were rattling rattling but I had just lost the case and had found back up headphones so didn't worry about it. Replaced the case with them then they gave me brand new airpods

    Everything at Apple you need an appointment but you can walk in and make one or make one online if you get in at right time wait time fast especially on airpod replacement like 15-30 minutes in all
