Nah. Electropop peaked with Lady Gaga(in the U.S.) and ain't nobody gonna ever have a peak like her. She was super famous and dominant in her prime and had every other pop/rap artist trying to get a Guetta/Calvin feature to stay on the charts.

If anything, we're gonna have a "Nu-Disco" revival which is already happening with Dua and Doja.

are you saying nu-disco is not dance music? or were you just saying "EDM" not gonna come back

  • On the other side, I really thought rap edm would be a thing i.e Who Gon Stop Me and Wild For The Night

I think it’s gonna be more dnb/garage kinda sound coming through
Pinkpantheress being the obvious example but there’s been undertones of it breaking through for a minute now

Not everybody was a music “expert” then. Life was good,

Quick questions, would this sound be a predecessor to artists like Porter Robinson today?

And who else would be in that kind of timeline? I'm interested now.

Always hated that era, even while in it

Thought eventually we’d get to the point where we’d have just EDM beats no vocals running the radio

Not to say I’m against it at a party or rave but wasn’t trying to listen to it mixed in r&b or pop songs
