this dude I work with is tanned middle top I think he might be Indian or something, he always says it and we tell him stfu
he tells us he dark enough to say it
I’m literally pale/tan & I’ve never had any issues whenever I said nigga in public
I don’t think it has anything to do with skin tone but if people can identify you as african or african American
I’m training myself not to say it anymore though
sub-saharan descendants only
Listen, you can tell if someone is black or not
And I don't mean by just skin tone, I mean you can truly tell if someone is living a black experience with 5 minutes of meeting them
If they are they can say it but if not f*** nah
When your black homies tell you it’s cool to say it.. that’s a trap right?
s*** happened to me once like 10 years ago w some homies I was making music w and I was like nah I’m good man lol

S*** is basically gone from my vocab. Once you stop hanging around people who say, s*** just naturally doesn't come out anymore. My family doesn't use it and my circle has gotten smaller since I got older. Dropping nigga so often be sounding immature as hell.
If you grew up in a household that don't say it, don't force that s***. And I mean if you black.
