His cover for his 2012 mixtape It’s the World:
The poster for the highly underrated 2012 film Killing Them Softly:
great artists steal been known
Rapper Young Jeezy stole the art from the film Killing Them Softly and used it in his cover for his mixtape It’s tha World.
The left frame of the glasses in Jeezy's album cover is different than the the left frame of the glasses in the Killing Them Softly poster. I'm not a copyright lawyer, but that may be different enough to avoid a lawsuit.
Plus that s*** was just on datpiff, Jeezy never made any money directly off that mixtape.
A mixtape cover STEALING from a movie?!?!?! 😨
Yes, rapper Young Jeezy used the art (presumably without permission) from Killing Them Softly, a film, for the cover of his mixtape It’s tha World. Pictures of both are above.

It’s my assessment that the artist behind Jeezy’s cover edited in the design seen on the left part of the sunglasses (right if you’re wearing the sunglasses). As you’ve stated, said design isn’t visible on the poster for Killing Them Softly.
bro it's a mixtape
Yes, I referred to It’s tha World as such. Killing Them Softly, however, is a film.

No, I’ve seen a few. None of the others I’ve seen used art from the 2012 film Killing Them Softly though.
