I've noticed alot of sellers on eBay sell brand new Levi's jeans, jackets and shirts for dirt cheap. Are there that many fakes? They have hundreds of stock all the time and they sell tons daily with good reviews and usually located in Cali or New York. I know I might be dumb but I want to order some but I'm not sure if they're fake or not. What do you think? Has anyone ordered from ebay and had any problems?

    Edit: some examples

    ebay.com/itm/Levis-511-Slim-Fit-Jeans-Mens-Slim-Slightly-Tapered-Leg-Zip-Fly-Low-Rise-Denim/293705654612?hash=item446238a154:g:t4IAAOSwytxfRRqj

These prices are kind of sus but I want to order. Can't tell if I'm getting a deal or scammed

  • they are levis which are mass produced

you should go to thrift store through in your local area to see what measurements/style you like they should be quite cheap.

  • lucky i live in sydney which has huge thrifting culture in inner city (even through they charge up the nose)

How they making a profit if it's cheaper than Jcpenny and Kohls? It's usually nwt not used.

I love watching thrifting videos tho, the only place I go to (in the US) are Michael's and Goodwill. Hardly any amazing finds but once in awhile it's worth it.

  • Ain’t no one making fake Levi’s

because they used usually given from charity or such

  • Those look like regular prices. They probably purchase them heavy discount from final sale, due to irregular sizing, getting rid of stock, or color way that just happens not to sell. Except the difference is you are now able to return, but are now charged with higher prices

Wholesalers sell them for like 30% of the retail price

You can find them in Costco for like a third of retail

I don’t really wear jeans anymore

I just wear them uniqlo jersey pants

  • Ill rather Go to Kohl's ..

  • I know that one way clothing gets sold on eBay like this is via liquidation. So a third party buys out the liquidated assets of a merchant going bankrupt and re sells online.

I do not know if this is the case here.

But its one way that clothing appears on the market at lower rates new than if bought from a retailer.

I just go to salvation in wealthy areas on a Wednesday.

All clothing is half off and you can find items with tags on.

I buy nearly all my clothing like this

levi’s outlets sometimes sell their s*** for as low as 3.49, bulk buyers go and buy the whole stock up

spend like 200 bucks and flip it
