I'm in a unique position where I'm not going back to work full time until most likely late May-june. I am working part time for the next month or 2. I'm taking this time to get my head straight before I go back go being a wage slave in the summer.

How do you relax and maintain your mental health? How do you personally get out of your head and not overstress?

After some of the threads I've seen on here it appears I'm not the only one that might need some techniques and tips to keep yourself sane in this crazy world we live in today.

Thinking about getting a dog. I've always felt they can be therapeutic.

if you will have time to take care of a dog properly, make sure you do (walks, feeding, etc) it'll add a certain routine to your life

How do you usually meditate? Do you just cross your legs and breathe. Do you use an app to help you?

Lately i've been doing guided meditations, I usually just youtube them.

I try to meditate twice a day, one of them i'll do laying down and then another i'll do cross leg. It kinda is trial and error to be honest to see what works best for you. But usually I try to focus on my breathing the entire time to help with mind wandering

I've always hated cardio, but I know it's basically the best exercise you can do.

I heard if you can just make it past the 3 week mark it'll change everything

I do now. But I have no idea how dedicated I can be with a full time. Obviously I could still walk and feed it lol but I mean like play with it and try to train it.

I think between me and my girl we can do it but I need to think about it more.

Like I got all the time in the world now. But in 2 months that could change
