Something I’ve noticed from the new generation of artists is they’re very engaged with fans either via doing Tik Tok challenges, IG lives or responding to fans on Twitter etc.
Drake doesn’t really do lives but he’s still active on IG and not completely reclusive like some peers from his generation.
Do you want him to be more active on social media, more reclusive to give his music more mystery or think he has the perfect balance right now?
Social media overrated af he’s got it down to a T at this point and has for many years. Some artists are on it waay too much and some not so much. He’s at the point whenever he announces or posts something people always notice. Wouldn’t want that to change he knows how to move and roll especially these days. I try and take notes from it and learn how I could adapt that in my own life.
I think he has the perfect balance right now.
He’s not too over exposed like you see these other artists post some dumb s*** on some again and again s***.
I like how we still feel his presence through pics and despite him not being ready to drop the album, we get studio pics. Many other artists go completely MIA.
He also likes to promote albums from other cultures (e.g - UK), so I respect that.
that man work way too hard to be playing on IG we lucky we get what we get. I think he posts great content when he does get around to it
Sounding like a corporate OVO question @Vietbrah
You like that?
You like that?
I do, its a dope question lol ijs it sound like you working directly for the big hommie over there
I personally feel his way is the best way forward for any big artist, perfect balance. He only tweets to promote new music or business ventures and on IG he’s a little more open by keeping us updated.
I think it’s best he keeps it that way, maybe he could do some IG lives from time to time but apart from that he’s got it right 👍🏾
I think he’s moving in a better direction thanks to COVID. Seems like he’s posting more personal content like Adonis and showing up on IG live and stuff. Hope he keeps that same mentality when we’re past all this
when/why did he stop tweeting?
Around 2015.
And said in an interview he found himself trying to get off tweets when he should be trying to get off bars
Why update the world on Twitter about your life when you can update them thru your music?
I think he has the perfect balance right now.

agree with this although I do think a reclusive drizzy would be a scary scary sight

He needs to get off ig because it makes him feel like hes hated apparently

Also around the time media outlets would start taking celeb tweets out of context and making articles about it
