Antivaxxers have already chosen to be ostracized. Refusing the vaccine is inherently antisocial - it’s a completely narcissistic denial of the existence of social obligation and the greater public good. It’s a self-imposed, self-fulfilling prophecy at this point.

edit: and ya know what? they absolutely revel in it. they love it. Like everything, it has been channeled into the culture war on the side that immediately rejects the advice of media/institutions/celebs/etc. Any imposition to their worldview or restrictions based on vaxx status just solidifies their points and “proves” them “right” - as if it wasn’t inherently their position to already exclude society and it’s culture/institutions from themselves

im fully vaccinated but I think Jonathan Isaac made a cogent argument and if you're young and healthy and already had COVID i don't think you should be forced to take this vaccine which has documented negative effects (however rare) for young healthy people. From what I've read, the chance of catching covid and getting seriously sick for a young healthy person is similar to the chance of getting a negative side affect from the vaccine. But i'm not a scientist or virologist or whatever. and honestly i sympathize with anyone who has a large distrust of govt, mainstream media and big pharma as these institutions have proven time and time again they don't care about the health or well being of normal people, and mostly care about making as much money as possible, often to the general population's detriment. so no i don't believe in excluding unvaccinated people from society, or vaccine passports or any of that s***
