I have over 100gb clogging up my harddrive atm and i want to free up space. I always stayed away from AM because i remember it was f***ing with peoples libraries and changing the tagging etc. My library is tagged ocd so that's my worst nightmare if it ruins it.

Can i just upload my existing to their cloud and then just stream from this point forward? I have a lot of mixtapes / compilations that aren't on streaming in my existing library...

Or is the a better option anyone can suggest?

  • never had issues with tags changing, uploading is very easy

i would be careful and move those files somewhere else, ive deleted files before and apple music lost them, you could put all of that on a usb stick

  • better option would be to build a server but that only makes sense if youre interested in doung that
