I got 4 since it's free for PlayStation Plus right now, barely started it tho. My question is, what's the appeal of these games? I don't doubt that they're great but I've never gotten into them so I just wanna know what people love about them
Basically a fun action movie in game format

The Lost Legacy

4 was a bit too long
4 was short
And the longer the game the better because you get more value out of your money

Felt like it was too long imo. The Lost Legacy is the short one.
Nothing to drop your jaw over? I was literally playing with my jaw dropped to the floor the whole time. This was a beautiful game to look at all the way through and nothing on ps4 beats it imo
Graphically, it’s great, yeah. I can’t deny that.
I meant more about the game as entire entity. Firstly, you have the issue of climbing – it’s an outrageously bloated feature. You’re not really playing at that point, it’s basically autopilot.
Then more importantly the plot is completely inconsequential. Up until about chapter 11 or 12-ish, the game has strong engagement from the player. Nathan is spiralling down into his old obsessions with his old brother (whose flashbacks were done well, actually) and the game is bubbling over with this feel of dread as to when it will burst into life. And then… It doesn’t. Everything ends so greatly! The player must suspend disbelief to play.
Again, it’s far from a bad game, and it’s great for what it is – a Hollywood blockbuster in the medium of a video game.
To say nothing on PS4 beats it... Well, you're certainly not playing the right games.

The nothing on ps4 beats it was about the graphics part. I dont know a game that looks as beautiful and detailed as UC4, but were used to that from Naughty Dog
1. 3
Most varied environments, favorite story, Abducted-the sinking ship my favorite set of chapters in the series
Favorite Drake costume
2. 4 best boss beautiful graphics amazing story
3. 2 almost tied with 4 great story
Trainwrecked might be my favorite singular mission
4. 1 great game just pales in comparison to the rest
(Skinny Drake looks weird too)

Defo was too long
I don't even agree with the "longer the better" argument either
almost done with the first one but will update everyone on how I feel about the series

Would love to hear your thoughts when you finished the games because i've only just got into the games recently myself and now it's my favorite game franchise of all time already
1 was aight but trust me it will get WAY better from there on

on uncharted 3 and 2 is the best so far. love the banter between Sully and Drake. And Chloe damn she fine
first one the best, then the second one, and after that the next two are basically remakes
played the whole trilogy now replaying 4. are there any adventure - like games like this at all??
Tomb Raider games

Troll post
Nobody thinks the first one is the best
Also 4 is really different compared to the first 3 lmao
1. Uncharted 2- first game of the series i played and its amazing. Story is still unmatched, but uncharted 4 comes close. Definitely the most memorable final boss levels with the blue guys shooting crossbows and the final boss fight was fun 10/10
2. Uncharted 4- Graphics are crazy, story was great and this one had the best villain. Secondary villain was very uninteresting. 9/10
3, Uncharted 3- Memorable moments like the plane sequence and the whole desert section of the game were :pog: . Like you said OP this was kinda a worse version of uncharted 2 8/10
4. Uncharted 1- good but definitely the weakest out of the 4. 7.5/10

dont think any game does what uncharted does nearly as well. Lara croft games are mediocre and dont have the same likeable characters and stuff

Uncharted 4 takes lik 11 hours if you know what are you doing. That’s what I would consider a short game

Still felt long to me. I enjoyed the others more.
Not saying it's a bad game, I still had fun.
