I saw on on X that TPAB will be 4x Platinum soon and Mr Morale is at 2.2 million.
This is great but the way people talk about these albums you would think they have only sold 50k copies.
TPAB certified classic, I was there! I remember my first listen vividly. Used to hotbox to Momma all the time in college.
TPAB was and always will be a classic
“the way people talk about these albums you would think they have only sold 50k copies.” And people wonder why Kendrick Stans are going crazy about sales now.
Thats why I dont get why people are acting like he was a small artist before the beef
i listened to tpab for the first time in forever last week, like legit first time in half a year or more. its unbelievable how f***ing good that album is
TPAB was an instant classic, the hate is just from a vocal minority of tasteless losers. Anyone who actually thinks TPAB is a bad album can have their opinions about anything disregarded.
I shake my head at how good TPAB is everytime I hear it
lmao that is exactly how i would describe it
it is such a clear cut case of having it too good too. you know its been one amazing album if the last few years people started 'shitting' on it. like you know it can take it, there is quite literally nothing to prove, its tpab

Momma
It’s wild how much hate TPAB gets
No valid reason either I remember a nigga in the beef thread saying he was tryna sell “black trauma” to white people like what? Sybau

Drake fans were getting really colorist or racist lmao
X? The Everything Platform?

I have quite literally never seen anyone act like these weren't huge albums but whatever
Morale was getting s***ted on for years since it dropped lol whether commercially or people disliking some of the content of the album
I have quite literally never seen anyone act like these weren't huge albums but whatever
TPAB doesn't have a lot of replay value for me, so I haven't heard it front-to-back in years, but I remember the moment this album 'clicked' for me. It was actually crazy and one of the most profound kind of mindfk moments I've ever had in music consumption.
TPAB will go down as my favourite album of all time, which i never thought i would say about an album only 10 years old
But its that good.
Conceptually, lyrically, sonically, thematically. It got everything man
what I'ma show the future babies of the world that ask "what is hip hop?"
so sales do matter?
