Amazon is a marketplace, just like Airbnb, Uber, and ebay, that uses entrepreneurs and businesses as leverage. They would not exist without small businesses. But unlike most companies Amazon has invested in ways, for example logistics & same-day shipping, that small businesses could never do. So in turn, SBs leverage Amazon instead of having customers pay wild shipping fees. They both need each other but the competition is insane in that marketplace.

And as far as workers, most corporations and small businesses treat their employees like s*** whether it's Apple, Nike or the small pizza shop around the way. Capitalism sucks lol

Yeah, it seriously so convenient and with Prime, it doubles the convenience. Like, I'll order something not from this area and it'll come the next day easily. I live in an apartment with Amazon Hub, so yeah that's f***ing great. I don't have to fear my s*** getting nabbed from some lunatic. But I hate that I am starting to heavily depend on it for goods. I usually order 4-5 stuff a month tho, so that's pretty much alright.
