Upgrading my first graphics ever and my ram

The ram is easy

After going through everything i decided on the geforce 3050 oc

Its not bad or terrible just mid and good for 1080 60fps gaming and is modern, but i also need it for graphic design and 3d modeling - i fried my 10 year old 580 graphics card by doing too much

Shout out the 3050s literally just recently dropping in price over 100 dollars like a month or two ago

I will finally be able to fullscreen my desktop again on about a week

UPDATE: works amazing and the card only cost me $179 plus new ram for $40. Videogames, photoshop, blender animation and flstudio works without limit and i can have as many tabs open

It got me out here thinking to rob a nigga for graphics card

the 3050 i think is one of the worst cards for performance to price ratio

Its 179 now for 6gb & 210 for 8gb

It used to be overpriced when them s***s were 350 rip to those bozos early adopters never win

I cant buy elden ring dlc this month tho since my computer s*** the bed and i have to replace half of it and FS is one of the few companies i wont pirate from, so gonna have to wait till next month 😪🥺

They’re more affordable now than they were 4 years ago that’s for damn sure I can’t even complain with that in mind

Its works great btw. Not only for modern video games but it also works great for my work in music, graphic design and animation

I can now have as many vst opened that i want, render 2000 frames in 10minsb within blender & have as many tabs opened in the internet while doing things in other program

And all it cost me was $179 for the graphics card and $40 for my additional ram which now rounds out to 20. Its a brand new computer & doesnt even run hot

Now i can finally say it:

F*** the ps5

Unless Bloodborne 2 or Okami 2 happens

It was way beyond worth it and basically a steal

I can now play BALDURS GATE 3 ALL IN ULTRA AND FULLY AT 60 STABLE

Before this upgrade i had to play on medium to low and some cutscenes would be f***ed up and i would get major frame dips every hour and i did all that to Act 3

I have to restart from the beginning since my computer was wiped when my 10 year old graphics shattered but thats ok, i get to experience it forreal now along with all the finished updates

It was already one of my fav games of the decade but now i get to see it even better than even what it was meant to be

The best 185 dollars i ever done spent shout out Amazon for dropping the price from 350 to 175 get while u can

I can mod Elden Ring now
