  • The hoodies feel so light. The thickest hoodie I ever bought was from Champion.

I recommend buying hoodies from American made sources instead of companies who outsource to foreign sweatshops to make extreme profits while also making a subpar product.

It may be more expensive, but it will look a lot better, last a lot longer, and it’s far more sustainable as well.

My personal favorite is Los Angeles Apparel (I have a lot of these)

but I’ve also heard good things about this hoodie recently huckberry.com/store/flint-and-tinder/category/p/50969-10-year-pullover-hoodie

  • Stussy double stitched hoodies are 100% what your looking for op

Nike Solo Swoosh is their line that does more heavyweight hoodies, shorts, jackets etc.
Not normally found at regular Nike shops though

Idk what fit/cut OP is looking for but to add some suggestions: Reigning Champ, American Giant, Champion reverse weave, Cole Buxton, Carhartt.

I was commenting on you saying the quality was bad not about work conditions!
There's plenty of stuff made in China that is fine quality and under relatively safe and fair work conditions compared to the West, all over the world workers are exploited, no need for the gotchas especially to defend America of all places

There is no reason to support Chinese made goods over American made goods in 2024 and beyond.

American corporations such a Nike have outsourced their labor for decades at this point.

We should celebrate local businesses that are willing to support American jobs & create high quality products instead companies taking in higher profits for executives, using sweatshop labor, and creating subpar products (all Nike).

Because once those dollar bills leave the country, they’re not coming back!

I’m all for Xi Jinping but buying clothes that are made in the USA should be way more of a priority for people in this country IMO. Especially when it’s Union Made.

I'm Australian and so idgaf about that patriotic ass s***

We should celebrate local businesses everywhere (including those designed and made in China), incentivise people to make sustainable garments that are made ethically in fair work conditions, none of these ideas are synonymous with America or have to involve using America as the vehicle

    I agree
Support local businesses that produce sustainable garments that are ethically made, be it in America if you live there, Europe, Asia, wherever

    Buying American Made Goods:
    ✅ high quality goods
✅ more sustainable (no overseas shipping)
    ✅ supporting American Jobs
    ✅ keeping money within community

    Buying Chinese Goods:
    ❌ low quality
    ❌ sweatshop labor
    ❌ child labor
    ❌ not sustainable

what about for the other 95.77% of the population of the world that don't live in America, they buy clothes too

If its just relating to OP then I agree with your sentiment in general that you should buy local and support ethical businesses, but the uncited generalisations and the "junk" comment was just an example of simplistic American exceptionalism

Nike is not fast fashion lmao. Your lil botique firms would not have the capacity to clothe as many people as Nike.
