The best albums have at least 5 tracks that you keep coming back to. MBDTF, GKMC, TC, Chronic 2001, Carter 3, Rodeo, etc,
Prove me wrong that a album isn’t a classic if there’s no replay value
replay value is too subjective
Give an example of an album people call classic with no replay value.
TPAB
replay value is too subjective
If it has no replay value, how good can it really be?
Side note when an album drops i don’t understand the people who are like “hmmm i’m going to listen to this 5 times to let it sit with me.” I can only listen to an album once ever in most cases
replay value is too subjective
Yea but I see people claiming albums that they themselves don’t consider replayable as classics. One of my friends say DAYTONA is a classic but he only heard it once. (It is a classic but that’s not what the conversation is about)

It has to be good on first listen for me to keep listening
" trust me, on the 48th listen, it gets really f***ing good"
Earl sweatshirt fans be like
You don’t have to run back an entire album every single day for it to be a classic
Niggas don’t do that with MBDTF or TPAB and those are still certified classics
Biggest cap 🧢 I done read all day
So you saying at this point you can play any of TPAB without getting tired of listening?
If it has no replay value, how good can it really be?
but how do you measure if it has no replay value? an album that has low replay value to you can have high replay value to me, it depends on personal tastes
It has to be good on first listen for me to keep listening
some of my favorite s*** ever has only clicked on subsequent listens
you shouldn't write something off based on 1 listen, sometimes you just need fresh ears and it sounds completely different

I dont view either as a classic fir that exact reason.
Havent been compelled to ever hear those albums in their entirety since I first heard them

Well yea but if none of the songs are memorable how is it a classic. Plus People still play TPAB and MBDTF songs today so how is that disproving my point.
