Been testing the new twitter audio spaces and can confirm its gonna be a dub for Clubhouse. Much easier to use, feels safer, more organized, and perfect integration into an existing site
plus I think they're looking to create features like "tipping" that help encourage creators
"We are threatening to upset the status quo"
easily absorbed into the status quo

60% of people don't have toilets... Let alone cell phones. The world is a lot poorer than our bubbles allow us to see

got on clubhouse when I upgraded my phone about a week ago. app is a clusterfuck rn
I can't speak for the entire app but, the side I'm on is full of mlm recruiters. Also people giving terrible "investment" advice, it's kinda cringe ngl.
When people are looking to dump, they jump on the app and hype people into buying. There's probably some decent discussion happening somewhere tho

Everyone on the app is promoting some weak ass app or tech

Yeah it was fun in the beginning but it’s already dead I would say target group rooms and you’ll have better conversations and networking that way.
A lot of broke celebs on there trying to swindle
it may compete but it definitely wont be anywhere near a nail in the coffin
clubhouse it popular but primairly with the younger generation.vmajority of americans will hold onto traditional news outlets
Anyone still have an invite? I'd be curious to check this out myself. @op

I take back what I said. I've found some rooms now that I actually enjoy and feel as thought I can gain knowledge from
i feel like clubhouse is already dying out
The app giving out invites like hotcakes killed the momentum tbf
News media will always be controlled by the powers that be. Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube control the flow of information and the type of info most seen. The "next big thing" will eventually fall into the hands of the corporate elite by either buying it out or laws being established to "control" it.
