Journalism was already in dire straits.
In the past, prominent people would issue press releases.
Now they just go on Twitter and talk directly to their audience. Journalism responded by becoming more clickbaity; often times antagonizing the very people they report on.
How can the NYT or Bloomberg compete with Elon Musk himself interrogating the founder of Robinhood on Clubhouse? The platform is still in its infancy. There's no android version yet.
