I haven't seen a single football fan that watches every week say they're not watching the World Cup for these reasons, you're basically saying millions and millions of people in the world lack integrity when it just means more to other people in the first place

Of course its bad and its wrong what happened in Qatar, but if anything this event has been a negative overall for Qatar as their reputation worldwide is in the mud

If you live in Europe or the US you have bigger fish to fry than debating the morality of watching FIFA

If you truly wanted to be consistent in that manner you’d be disengaging from every facet of Western culture and that’s just unrealistic

There’s obviously a difference between what we’re dealing with and cultural practices that are inherently oppressive. Football is the not oppressive, it’s the labor we use to maintain it. That is what should be transformed

I’ve given up plenty of things that were American cultural cornerstones despite them not amounting to much in the grand scheme of things.
