As of right now I have the iPhone X and for some reason it’s complete s*** in my experience. The UI is very laggy sometimes, the battery is awful and the phone in general is just underwhelming. I would go as far as to say I enjoyed my iPhone 7 more than this phone. I’ve only had it for about a year and it already has so many issues that bother me on a day to day basis. I’m either going to get the iPhone 11 Pro or switch brands completely, any thoughts or suggestions? Thanks in advance

im waiting for 2020 iPhone, 11 pro isn't a big upgrade from the X aside from the camera.

  • Feb 1, 2020

I’m probably gonna get this years iPhone towards the end of the year

  • Feb 1, 2020

Next iPhone gen is not gonna have 5G capabilities, so it makes no sense to buy an iPhone with the intention to keep it for long. Buy an iPhone with the attention to upgrade within two years

  • Feb 2, 2020

Thanks for the input guys, I’ll probably just wait till September for the new iPhone then tbh

Clear your cache and cookies and restart the phone and also the more storage youve used up the slower it might feel because its running through a bunch of data to get what it needs so deleting stuff that you don't want or need anymore should help

Idk I have the same phone and mine is doing fine. It lags occasionally but once I clear its usually all good. Whats your battery health? That could be the issue too

Battery health is at 87%. I close out all tabs when I’m not using them and I don’t use my phone a lot when it’s charging I don’t really know what the deal is tbh

Not sure last thing I’d say to try is just completely reset it but idk if you’d want to tbh

My X is doing just fine despite being jailbroken. I'm waiting for the portless 2021 iPhone before upgrading. Just get a wireless charger in your car, one in your office and one on your bedside table and you'll be fine. My battery is never under 50%.

Even without wireless charging, headphone jack, or sd card it's still the #1 out currently... except for the 7T Pro 5g McLaren edition only at t-mobile... or the 7T Pro only available outside the US. But the difference is only marginal.

And it's completely sold out on oneplus.com lucky I got my unlocked android 10 8gb/256gb Almond limited edition

Take all the expectations you have and it exceeds it s*** is lifechanging. I've had it for about a month now

There is no other flagship out currently with SD 855/855+, UFS 3.0 storage, precise and strong haptic vibrator, in display fingerprint sensor thats the fastest in the game, loud dual speakers, VoLTE/VoWIFI and full compatibility with USA lte carrier bands, Bluetooth 5.0 with AptX-HD, 1440p 6.67" perfect color/contrasy accuracy bright as hell 90hz AMOLED infinity curved display with no bezels or notch, quick-activating pop-up camera with face unlock and automatic fall protection, really good stock OnePlus live wallpapers, usb-c, dual SIM, triple camera setup with 4k 60fps video, android 10, NFC, built in screen recorder, Dolby Atmos, 30W Warp Charging 0-50% in 20 minutes, a Gaming mode that launches automatically and actually does useful s***, a 3-stop alert slider that includes vibrate and full silent ring modes, case included in the box, factory applied good quality screen protector, tested waterproofness, 5g if you get the carrier-locked versions, and generous RAM/storage options that started at $669 and can be found today for under $500 easily....

If you must upgrade and have other Apple devices I'd recommend to stick to iPhones, get whichever you can find the best deal on and that catters to your needs. Like if you don't watch many videos and don't care about the screen the XR and 11 are just fine.

If nothing's holding you back it's all up to your preferences but I'd still stick to Apple. If you must go Android I recommend the Pixel because every other manufacturer is gonna give you a worse software than Google with your phone which will lead to problems, stability issues and those phones may not be supported for more than 1-2 years.

So pretty much iPhone or Pixel. The 3a is a greatly priced phone if it has what you're looking for by the way.

    Yea i know it's a quality device

I was tempted to try a Pixel, so im a year and a half in with a Pixel 3, I love it so far

    But

I had a Xiaomi before and s*** was great, it had a lot of features so OnePlus is that but on steroids in terms of performance

Pixel doesn't even have built-in screen recorder.

I'm cool with what it is rn cause I bought it off a nice discount and like i said, wanted to try Pixels to see what's the deal

I haven't tried a iPhone yet so im trying to get on that too to see if I'm for it, I'm keeping an eye on OnePlus tho cause the devices are solid as s*** and if it's not for me I'll buy for pops i guess to see its performance

Edit: at the time I wanted a powerful but compact device so late 2018 i copped for 550$, great deal if u ask me cause phone was going for 899$
