An hour before sleep:
Pretty good
I read some nights, feels as though it helps going to sleep
I've tried to do that in the past without much luck tbh. Either I will become too engrossed in the book and it will disrupt my sleep, or it's too damn boring to motivate myself to read it.
Any specific titles you've read you recommend?
what kind of things do you plan to write in your journal?

Ah I just read whatever I’m currently reading, right now it’s a book on the Balkans. I’m not sure if it actually is proven to help with sleep, but it does keep me away from the phone though so that’s something

Just gonna get my thoughts out on paper. There's usually lots of things I'm worried and anxious about running around in my head. Or I might do gratitude exercises like writing down what I'm grateful for and stuff like that.

nice
Enjoy the flow of the routine and not the schedule of the routine itself.
Can you expand?
First night of implementing this a success, slept like a baby and up at 6am this morning
Good idea
I shut off screens 30-60 mins before bed, meditate 20 mins, maybe smoke one. Works great

In short, enjoy winding down and make it second nature vs being routinely set on winding down. You'll have more energy waking up when your mind is at ease the night before.
