In response to the thread “In response to the thread ‘better discography: Em or Nas’ I think Eminem had a higher peak of solid consecutive albu”, I agree that Nas’ discography is stronger on the whole, however I think significant consideration should be given to the intensely visceral heights that some of Em’s songs can achieve. “Kim”, dark as its subject matter is, comes to mind, as does “Sing for the Moment” and “Mockingbird”. In this case, I am a bit more partial to Em for his personal works, but I think Nas contributes to a more worldly effect, often giving commentary more potent than Em’s. Overall, I’m a bit divided on the matter
