Damn, no Shia Lebouf
I just don’t like the look of a lot of new films. It’s like the lighting and shadows and everything is all wrong. It feels so digital even when it’s not. There’s rare exceptions to this. I can’t even put my finger on exactly what it is. This just doesn’t feel like an Indiana Jones movie or me even when it’s doing everything to communicate that it is.
I love Indiana jones fr but the trailer kinda looks like a cgi fest
everything else looks rlly promising tho
what stood out to me was the shot of Indiana jones on the horse. CGI looked pretty bad there

Cgi on green screen backgrounds make everything look like s***. Blockbusters these days aren’t even trying to blend cgi with real environments (which helps make it look realistic) so everything ends up looking like s***
I think marvel popularized this trend
Bro got packed in Vietnam
Mutt died on the way back to his home planet
Damn, no Shia Lebouf
He burned bridges with Spielberg by s***ting on Crystal Skull after it dropped

Very in-character for him. He clearly isn’t trying to play the game.
currently rewatching the series
jesus christ the second one has a perfect first 15-20 mins
the anything goes sequence and everything up until the plane crashing is like pitch perfect pacing, writing, direction, blockbuster fun
