People often say breakfast is the most important meal of the day but I've been on that intermittent fasting wave and I do not eat until noon or 1 PM and I've got to say: it goes.
It's a totally made up thing. The three meals a day stuff is also just from European culture, some cultures have more meals or less per day
Prussians used to say:
"Breakfast like an emperor
Lunch like a prince
Dinner like a beggar"
Guess that mentality stuck in the USA as well

idk my first meal was always at half a day, can't eat anything in the morning
No but a good American diner breakfast is probably my favorite meal close second is Thanksgiving
In Afghanistan we do big breakfast at 11-12 then big dinner at 8-9 with tea after the two meals. Lunch is usually little more than a snack
They provide great social anchors to start and end your day with close friends and family. Also means less work
Nah there's no most important meal of the day or stuff like that
But intermittent fasting hits different
I haven't had breakfast in 5 years. I also suffer from at least 10 different mental illnesses

Having to make breakfast gets my out of bed in the morning and often times the only thing I wanna do in the morning is eat
