Like earlier this year one of my closest friends literally deleted his IG, saying how he felt uncomfortable about the controversy surrounding his political club he’s in for his University and whatnot. Besides I’ve been losing some followers but then the app showed me they deleted their accts.

Anyone realize this too?

But unsurprising. People starting to realize the cost of social media and some are deciding it's not worth it.

For real, I heard that social media has turned more into a marketing platform. Sucks what it has turned into

I’ve distanced myself from IG but I don’t think I can ever delete it there are too many memories and I haven’t bought a hard drive yet to store all my photos

Just don't really feel the need to go on ig anymore. All I get feeded are ads, the couple "influencers" in fashion and design I follow, but I don't get any updates on my actual friends

He’s part of some Republican Club in his University and they were smeared on TV for sum, a group pic where he was included was on there

So that’s part of the reason

i havent been on IG in a while because i started to feel insane that people only use it to prove theyre happy and then you talk to them in real life and theyr miserable, also stopped f***ing with it when they stopped showing you chronologically posts, like they would only promote your friends with followers and likes which is whack as f***, s***ty app overall and is s***ty for mental health tbh
