For all intents and purposes he is supposed to be mentally disabled.
But he clearly can find solutions to his problems, is clever with how he solves them and is very creative when it comes to his final solutions. He has shown that he can adapt past whatever his limitations were supposed to be and thrive in his own unique way.
no because disabled characters should not be represented by serial killers lmfao
He's not even human by the 6th film. He's a magic zombie. He is avenging society's neglect.
Also, the kid eating chocolate in the 5th movie is a way worse representation.
Nigga he kills people how is that representative
People kill people. We need representation for everyone

You're just coming off like you're scared of strong willed characters that can overcome any challenge set before them. If you are a bit more open minded about it we could learn alot from Jason Voorhees. No matter what gets in his way he finds the will to carry on and adapt to his situation. I think that's really important when it comes to having a disability.
We should not think so much about the "he kills people thing" and focus on the "he finds a way to get the job done"
The fact he's able to overcome his disability and kill 789 people despite their best efforts is something to consider.
What about Leatherface? He at least held down a job at the slaughterhouse despite his problems.

The Hills Have Eyes had that s*** covered though.

He's an undead hillbilly backwoods retàrd I really hope you dont take notes from him Bo
Um how about we look at characters like Forrest Gump instead of f***ing Jason Vorhees as a good representation for people with mental disabilities and deficiencies lmfao
Batman clearly has issues and that's why he's the best
He uses his weaknesses as strengths

I think everyone looks at Forrest Gump and rain man are the only examples of a disabled person taking charge of their situation.
I think we all could take notes from Jason Vorgees personally as long as we remove the context that he's associated with horror movies
He uses his weaknesses as strengths
That's why he's the best. He used his fears and trauma to f*** people up.

No, he was a mentally challenged kid who drowned at the camp his mom worked at while the counselors should’ve been watching him. Turns out in part 2 he didn’t die, he’s been living in the woods around the lake. In part 2 he’s just a woodland hermit basically. Parts 3 and 4 it’s just heavy suspension of disbelief with him somehow surviving everything, but he isn’t supposed to be a zombie at this point. Part 5 he’s not even in, part 6 he gets resurrected via lightning and that starts the zombie Jason era
