About a decade in the game. Cult classic mixtapes
He has bars. He has melodies. He’s original but he just never saw true mainstream success.
Tbh there's so many of these guys, I don't think you can rank them cause their all in their own lanes.

I would also consider key! In this discussion too.
It’s keys own fault he not mainstream tho and I like key a lot
He was on his way up when he first came up on Tumblr then everyone finding out he was Shaggy son kinda stunted him. Still dropped classics over the years.

I would say the same for Robb but for different reasons. Robb was just taking too long to drop hyped projects

Pretty much yeah, at this point unless they hit some kind of insane streak, they gon be stuck where they are

Yea in a retrospect it shouldn't have been a big deal, but people (mostly Tumblr) was trolling him with that for a cool minute. Before that he was pretty much the breakthrough artist of the Tumblr era next to ASAP Rocky and SGP
Dude just had incredibly bad luck in instances of ALMOST making it
1. Niggas progressed past cloud rap quickly
2. He broke it off with SGP for some reason
3. X died, and he was prolly the most out of MO that stood to gain from working with bro
4. Didn’t really link with any of the big SoundCloud dudes from outside of Florida until after they alr blew (Uzi, Trippie, etc)
He didn’t seem to want to network with out of state niggas, and he prolly blew his best chance (2015-17 imo) operating like that.

It still f***s with his reputation to this day lmao
I remember during last Super Bowl, I typed in Robb Banks on Twitter during his dad’s commercial and niggas was grilling him
