Was thinking the OVOSound twitter/ IG accounts promotes everything Drake as if he's part of the Warner situation when he's obviously his own situation now (previously Cash Money/ YM)
There's no socials representing Drake new label situation really. Should there be?
Also, just realised SH2 just has only OVO as the listed label on streaming. What happened to licensed by UMG / Republic as I believe LNCL was?
Scare Hours 2 a purely independent release?
That's a good point actually. Maybe he's at the point where he's choosing when he licenses it to them for their services like advertising etc but since SH2 was just a loosie project he didn't bother with it

Yeah, damn I don’t know how I missed and media didn’t pick up
if true 🤔 impressive situation he’s got if that’s the case
I read this 5 times and I can't understand what you're asking but
OVO Sound is under Warner and OVO as a brand is still Drake and Oliver. We don't know if Drake is locked in to a deal so if not that means he can choose what and when to license? We don't know for sure and I still wonder what Frozen Moments is
Drake himself is enough so he doesn't need a company or what ever to promote him

It’s a jumble of thoughts lol

Nah he wouldnt get into all the playlists so easily without a major backing him
Mfers on every playlist imaginable

Lol Drake is literally the biggest artist on streaming. His dominance on streaming isn't really about the labels. Drake dropping is a moment for them to eat
Spotify actually did that because they f***ed up and released Scorpion late and Drake dominates Apple Music so they were trying to claw back the market.
Labels value shows more so on radio play.

They put him on because he brings in the most people, it's usually the new artists that have to pay to be on those because they don't guarantee people actually listening
They lose money and subscribers if they don't put Drake at the front to attract everyone. When Drake drops and they promote it everyone in the business benefits
