I think there is a difference between being emotionally weak and being emotionally honest.

If you're emotionally weak you let everything get to you, get paralyzed by any uncomfortable situation, etc. It's not healthy for you. For example imagine breaking own and crying on the spot if a girl calls rejects you.

If you're just emotionally honest you let yourself feel things but don't get consumed by them or try to suppress/deny. Using rhe same example: if a girl rejects you dont act as if it didnt affect you but you dont start slobbering all over her.

I think an emotionally weak person is someone who can’t control their emotions and starts to think/act based on those emotions. Usually a recipe for disaster.
