The music video for "Rhythm Nation" has been declared a security vulnerability as it freezes some models of hard drives on older computers. The song contained one of the natural resonant frequencies for the model of older 5400 rpm laptop hard drives. Pretty wild

the whole “432Hz” thing is complete bullshit btw

slightly altering the pitch of a song doesn’t make it “resonate” better, it just makes it sound s***tier

This basically can be defined as side-channel attack. The bleepingcomputer article gives a great summary of details of what cause the flaw. Crazy that only occurs in old laptops with specific hdd's.

Since I got myself a record player with pitch shifter I only listen to records with the pitch shifted down, once I put them back to their 'original' speed they sound so off I can't stand it

    SIGH

So its the VIDEO not the song?

technically they list the audio from the music video as the vulnerability which more likely means its just the song

currently watching it, I hate it when people try to discredit something in a sarcastic way as this guy does, but he's providing good content and I am open to it

from my personal experience, as I said above, I'm enjoying music pitched down a bit more than the normal one, and that's NOT influenced by any belief of 432 magical healing frequency
