I need this show to happen so kit Harrington can get through alcoholism

So it seems like Kit feels Jon's story is incomplete. Jon hasn't been able to process anything thats happened to him, and Kit really wants to explore those themes of grief and loss

That’s probably for the best. There’s plenty of GOT shows you can make that take place before ASOIAF, there’s no need to force a sequel show considering there is no source material

It’s always a bad idea to try and make something in this universe without having source material from GRRM

I still think this was intended as essentially a continuation of GOT. Probably lost momentum as time passed and S8 became too far removed.
