One of my fav phones ever

I had the Sony Xperia 1 ii then the P40 pro as "upgrades" and now i'm back on 7 Pro. It's a flagship in 2020 for me

Yeah man I love it too. Screen looks crispy af, even on low res mode. The vibration motor is way higher quality and doesn't feel like s***, the stereo speakers are loud as f*** and bluetooth/headphone volume are really good, way better than the OP6.
I'm getting a screen protector today, had to go the last few days with the phone butt ass naked

I found my LTE is gonna be better on the T mobile firmware so I'm just gonna stay on that cuz LTE got slow as f*** on my OP6 out of nowhere, I need to get rooted expeditiously tho.

Well I would assume price is a factor since he got the original 7 for only $350 lol

    That's a steal

Why when you can buy the 12 pro max for $1499

It's sick, I really like the screen, reminiscent of a S10. The camera is honestly meh. I haven't tried it on a sunny day yet, but it ain't particularly impressive. I dare say the IPXR got better cams. S10 is certainly better camera wise...

Other than that I like it tho, it's big and the vibration motor feels really nice. Which is big because it was weak and felt cheap on the OP6. Audio quality seems better, even over Bluetooth. It gets loud.

The screen is dope af tho. I'm a little sad cuz it doesn't get as bright as the OP6, but there's never an issue seeing the screen.

The phone looks very clean and cool. I notice it's significantly heavier than the OP6... Like maybe 1.5x as heavy give or take.

Despite having a 4000mah battery, it gets about average run time. Though my battery only has like 90% capacity compared to normal so that might have something to do with it.

Phone has many positives i liked since day one

But im specific in one thing only which is the actual chassis of phones and the "heavyness" of them so I got a Pixel 3 realizing some downgrades it may bring like battery & no headphone jack and refresh rates, but how it sit in my hand is my number one thing and I don't like big phones like that.

Part of other reason is, I been wanting a Pixel phone since 2016 when it first launched, just wanted to try it and this my first time and it's mostly fire except the battery

Camera is so powerful that if I use it for a while it even shuts off other processes.

I'm probably coppin a one plus for my pops tho so I'll get to see it atleast in one way

I'm getting an iPhone next tho cause also, ain't tried that company yet and I'm getting to the point of using my phone less and less so it might end up being perfect choice

Yeah, if I had OnePlus 8T Pro money, I'd cop in a heartbeat.

I got mine off Amazon Renewed and it's almost flawless. The only thing was some hairline scuffs on the bottom of the back glass, but that doesn't matter to me since the backglass is easily replaceable and it's not even noticeable. The screen was flawless except for like a tiny hairline scratch from pocket lint or something. You gotta have the phone off and the screen completely clean with some good lighting to even remotely see it, but it's really not even a factor. It's in mint condition while still being used. Way better condition than my last phone off Swappa and that phone was in really good condition.

I saw I could've got an unlocked one in mint condition for the same price off Swappa, but I read the international version has spotty LTE with T Mobile and the only T Mobile ones they had were in like fair condition. Plus, I can always just flash the international firmware and make it into the unlocked version, but I probably won't unless it has better ROM compatibility.

So yeah, 350 isn't bad at all, especially because they just lowered the price from like 400. And a brand new one is like 500. So $150 for a OnePlus charger and the retail box just isn't worth it lol.

Plus I plan on hopefully getting like 200 for my OP6, especially once I put a new battery in it.

Yeah Pixels aren't bad at all, the only reason I didn't want one was because I do like the bigger screens and Pixel repairs are a little hectic. But I know those cameras are probably better than most phones.

I been wanting a google pixel for a min too. I remember having the Galaxy Nexus right before the Nexus 4 came out and being hype about those phones, but after the Galaxy Nexus, I never went back cuz they were always right out of my price range.

And yeah, iPhones are basically only good for like social media n s***. I had one for a bit while being a huge Android nerd and they are pretty cool, but then you run into little things that annoy you like not being able to use your phone as removable storage (idk if they added that yet) or download MP3s straight to your phone...

Android definitely gives you the opportunity to USE your phone more since Android phones are basically like desktops in a mobile interface.

Yeah and that's why I mostly think in the future a iphone will suit me more

Yeah, I don't do it much either, I just get root so I can use adaway and Viper4Android.

I mostly don't fw it tho because flashing ROMs used to be so f***ing simple. I could like be at school and download and flash a ROM, and if I didn't like it, I could just flash another by lunch time and nothing would get deleted.

Now a days, even with these phones which are supposedly 'hack friendly', they're liable to get soft bricked while flashing anything... And when that happens you HAVE to use a PC to unbrick it, which usually ends with the phone storage being wiped.

Plus, the camera API sucks on AOSP ROMs. You lose on cam quality unless you're using a OP ROM.

If they made Viper4Android and Adaway for non root, I'd never need to hack again...

Also Magisk Manager sucks balls. It's what you use to install tweaks n other root stuff. At this point, the iPhone hacking game is on a more advanced trajectory than Android.

I'm pretty disappointed in the modern day Android hacking scene. It used to be dope af and full of innovation, now it's just dudes copying each other using AOSP as a base so they can slap something together and put their PayPal at the end of the post.

I low-key will wanna try out Android 11 tho so I might go down the rabbit hole cuz T Mobile takes forever to push updates.

But yeah it's got 256gb of storage and the screen is tight!

I feel like 300 would've been better, but it's still a good deal.
