The experience isn't much different honestly. High end androids like the s10 and stuff have way better screens and having expandable storage is great but its mostly the same experience without the apple ecosystem.
The phone is much more customizable, there's more freedom to it and the phones have different price points but overall not much changes especially with how apple is doing widgets now

I'm planning to leave andriod this year so all I'ma tell you is learn how to optimize your phone and there are many ways Google's ecosystem can make things convenient for you, you just have to make sure you know what you're doing

Youtube comment sections will make you lose hope with society sometimes cause it's extremely one way or the other sometimes

Most andriods unless its a flagship phone doesn't get any updates to the new version. It's literally stuck on the version you bought it as or it gets 1 update and that's it lol
