Yeah it is meant to be goofy but at the same time spooky.

The show stumbles a couple times in season 2 but if you stick with it you'll be rewarded with one of the greatest seasons of all time with S3.

Yeah it’s supposed to be over dramatic / campy. Stick with it and your mind will be blown
