I got a used 7th gen one off ebay for like 40 bucks. Download books from libgen, convert em with another app if needed, and then email to my kindle bam done. Got hundreds of books on this bish and all for 40 bucks. It's the e-ink display so very low power use, no backlight at all so blessed for letting your brain realize its not daytime as you get ready for bed.

if I realize I really like a book that Im reading on my kindle I'll stop and get a physical copy to finish just cuz they hit so much nicer and then I have a great book to go on my bookshelf and they're easier to share with friends

Yep my kindle will be for non fiction. I will not be reading fiction currently but I pray I can pick it up again in the future and if so I intend to read physical copies

Any time in prepping for an exam I get a physical text cuz it’s impossible to read for more than 10 minutes on a screen

this why I got an older model with the simple e-ink display and no backlight. I find it much more tolerable for lengths of time

If I’m holding a book I feel a greater commitment so I do it. I’m not much of a reader but I have to study a lot for my career

Great buy and I highly recommend it. Physical books are great and all but having your whole library with you digitally is better overall imo.

they gotta start doing it like dvd's where if you buy a book u get a digital version as well
