I for one think it is an amazing unforgettable experience that will be plagued with the classification of being a walking simulator.... though if walking games arnt your cup of tea maybe just wait for a sale. But it’s way more than just walking. Opens up a ton after episode 2.
I legit can’t get the game out of my mind

Psn Black Friday sale for exclusives coming Sunday. Gonna pick up tons of digital games for ps5 backwards compat. Spider man, uncharted 4 and lost legacy, horizon, maybe until dawn. Only one I’ve played of those is uncharted 4 but that was a while ago

As long as the game has a plot that keeps me going and intrigued, I’d honestly be fine. The walking doesn’t really bother me as long as there’s an actual goal. MGS V was mission after mission with no real story to really make me care, and it turned out Skullface’s coolest moment was in Ground Zeroes.

I have faith in Kojima, it’s just the polarization is wild to see, and it’s hard to tell who genuinely likes the game and not just saying it’s good because Kojima.

Spider-Man is tons of dumb Super Hero fun. Actually really decent story as well

The game kinda goes like this

Start cutscene after cutscene... then you get into chapter 2 and for about 40 deliveries little progress to the story(Like 15-25 hours or even more).

Then chapter 4 hits and the story slowly picks up... then around chapter 8 on it becomes mgs4 with long and amazing cutscenes with bits of gameplay in between.

My final hour counter at the end was 49 hours never beat Mgsv tho cause the story went f***ing nowhere and I was sick of copy paste missions

What would you say was the best/worst parts of your experience? No Spoilers obviously

Well let’s just say for chapter 2. The world opens up and it’s just you and walking... and figuring out how to walk and where is an experience... then the multiplayer component really picks up in chapter 3. Without that struggle in chapter 2 the multiplayer would mean nothing and I wouldn’t care (for example you really appreciate structures people build for you, and without that original struggle you would probably not help other people and people wouldn’t help you)

That’s my gameplay favorite part (basically chapter 3 once s*** opens up) but for the whole game... the end when it becomes like mgs4... Man I missed them long convoluted kojima cutscenes

Worst part is probably chapter 2 tbh tho. But without that struggle and me hating it I feel like I wouldn’t appreciate the game if they gave me those tools at the beginning
