SE Virginia. It doesn't get too cold, but last summer I noticed I stopped sweating as much after biking in the heat. I'd bike for 15 minutes in 90+ humid weather and barely sweat. Your body gets used to it

I live in Toronto and just got my license yesterday. I hate public transportation and can't wait to stop using it forever.

Are you really ready to give up that freedom? And I'm not some unhealthy fatty and yet I can't see myself carrying everything all the time without a car. Think of your groceries and shopping but also all those unpredicted things where a car would be useful.
That's really only an option if you live in the middle of everything so you don't really have to deal with public transit either and weather good enough that you can walk outside all year long.
Why not just keep your car stashed away and don’t pay insurance. That way whenever you actually need a car again you don’t have to buy one you can just start your insurance back up

I try and bike most places where I live now but my foot has been giving me huge pain lately from a fracture years ago that didn't heal right. So I'm currently doing physical therapy for that and hope to be back to cycling most places by late spring early summer.
I miss my motorcycle too.... ;__;
