It's not popular to criticize or critique ps4 spiderman lol ppl will tear you to shreds for daring to, but I'm honest lol certain aspects of it were disappointing. I cant really describe what, though. For all its production values something about it felt off. Maybe the side missions felt better, or maybe like you mentioned the city felt a bit more grime and gritty in the spm2. I still enjoyed the ps4 game though, even though I never completed the main story. With enough polish this would have been amazing man. Too bad.

Spider-Man PS4 is probably the best campaign I’ve ever played in my life and folks are saying Spider-Man 2 and this unreleased mess are better?

Because the city npcs have like 5 lines and you basically hear all they have to say and do within the first hour. They’re lifeless as hell.

Oh yeah..the ps2 one probably wasn't too much better in that regard though it would have been far more excusable back then on that hardware. Yeah hopefully with the ps5 they can give npcs more tasks/animations/dialogue.

This feels like a gritty more realistic Spider-Man. You can’t compare a 2018 game to this just flat out you have to compare for the time periods. And for the time period with ZERO polish this looks INCREDIBLE
If this game released fully polished bet we would be saying 2018 was good but didn’t live up to this game. I already enjoyed Spider-Man 2 more than I ever enjoyed 2018 and this game looks like a WAY better spiderman 2

Came across this and thought it was interesting. Early footage from what was to be the tie in for Sam Raimis 4th film. Sucks we never got that 4th movie for one cuz I loved Raimis trilogy, and even though Spider Man 3 game was nowhere near as good as the 2nd game, this fourth game could've had massive potential considering if they didn't rush the game out with the movie.
I kinda miss when games could be at this cool like mid tier level

Xbox was a great console, I have both and my xbox ended up being more durable in the long run than my ps2.
