That doesn’t make any sense. Buzz Lightyear is a toy based off of an in-universe cartoon series.

In theory the toy buzz should have the same voice as the character it’s based on. Like movie-based action figures have catchphrases taken directly from the film irl

But I guess the voice actor for the toy of Buzz Lightyear was some rip off/sound alike actor

Which means Tim Allen isn’t even the accurate buzz voice, Chris Evans is.

I think we’re getting a 2001/Star Wars inspired Pixar “biopic” that takes place in either the 70s or 80s (possibly 60s) before this Buzz is mythologized and turned into a movie + toy in the 90s around the first Toy Story
