Not really lol, twitter is it own culture tbh and we don’t need more toxic s*** on KTT as much as there already is

i think these conversations are worth having. seeing if this community thinks something is racist or trivial holds some value

yes exactly. just look at "ratioing" someone. it's really hivelike. people will post s*** they don't even really believe for likes all the time

in some contexts it can be really sus, all depends on the persons intentions and the message of the tweet

F***ing with white people is funny but y’all gotta really take a good look at the ppl that are telling u the rules they want u to follow. And ask urself “why the f*** am I letting this mixed b**** with bleached eyebrows tell me what to do”

    WHaaaT

Remember when Twitter was saying not to post gifs of black people if you’re not black bc it’s “virtual blackface”

It’s corny and it’s only giving that woman more attention which I honestly think we shouldn’t do.

why do ktt users share dumb tweets instead of ignoring them

True but I also really need the media to stop using Twitter so much

yeah i agree with this. personally i don’t normally like or retweet things with the word in it, normally because the tweet contains things that don’t pertain to me lol

but if one of my friends tweet something with the word in it and it’s about something we just did or i can relate to it or some s*** i will

Thinking that black people make good jokes and supporting them with a like/retweet is racist

    This is peak 2020

This is something so irrelevant. I highly doubt any actual black people are offended by this

Notice how these people complaining are always white, self-righteous, holier-than-thou, self-declared ‘activists’.

Nobody cares. Just don't say it yourself. And even then, people don't care all that much.

The gatekeeping of the N word is always hilarious. Like, I am fully behind white people not using it, but we are now reaching a point where people are just creating arguments to attack whites over it. Whites will not be able to listen to the word in music next. White people need to listen to the censored version or not listen at all.

It's hilarious because there are p**** white people out there who will all go along with it knowing it is complete and utter nonsense because they want to appear as progressive.

I don't say it out respect.

When it comes to liking/ RT I do it. I see the context.

I don’t have a problem with them liking or quote retweeting but it depends on what they’re retweeting. I’ve had tweets where I would say some like niggas dirty asl or you can’t trust these niggas etc. those style tweets and non blacks would interact with it like it was cool or some. The problem is a lot of them think nigga mean “person”. They don’t know the history of the word and a lot of them don’t even care to learn.

Wait what does the 'as' version of the word mean? I thought it just means black people

Yeah it’s a term of endearment for us, we took the er version and reclaimed it and gave it a new meaning.

When I see nonblacks arguing for their right to say it they usually just minimize it to being “just a word” or they just use as a placeholder for person or something.

this the same as saying if your black friend makes a joke with the n - word, you can’t laugh

“I’m sorry, you used that word so I can’t continue this conversation further”

they really want us to live like this
