🚨 Its not for a party or anything like that nor legit 100 percent dancing, just for myself at home & the late night drives mostly.

Idk what you would call it nor genres, but Dance-like is the best I can do. Stuff like:

Drake - Passionfruit, Kendrick - Die Hard, Kanye - Fade, J Cole - Apparently, Travis - Pick up the Phone, James Blake - I Hope My Life 1800, Daft Punk - Something About Us etc.

I got mainly Rap tracks but I'm opened to other genres as well. My fav genres are Rap, RnB, Indie Rock, Alt Electronic, Soul & Jazz, but any will do.

😈 Now it doesn't have to be so strict (mellowish & upbeatish are welcomed), I have more hyped Dance-like songs such as Mr. Morale & Send it Up, mellower songs like Die Hard n Passionfruit, & I have some curve balls like 24 & Chapter 6 that still kinda fit while breaking things up to not be too samey n gives a rest. Partly why I cant exactly pin down a genre.

• "Dance-like" is a loose descriptor from me, dont take it so serious, & it goes beyond more than just the stereotypical tropical steel pans & edm risers (not saying theyre bad, just that more exists as well). Like 70s bassline grooves, Tribal drum rhythms, Ballet-like smooth/light feelings etc.

🔥 Its more about the vibe/atmosphere/motif hence some of the curveballs I also have that still kinda fit but breaks things up a bit, & hence the LIKE in Dance-LIKE. All are welcomed.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I find myself loving these kind of songs more & more as I get older.

Travis basically gave us one with Birds so he good.

But imagine a dance kanye album with Fade, Send it Up, Jail, Can U Be, Believe What I Say etc. Kendrick with Die Hard, Purple Hearts, Mr. Morale, Night of the Living Junkies, Redemption etc. & Drake with Passionfruit, Get it Together, Hold on Were Going Home, One Dance, Too Good etc.

Then some curveballs that fit a lil like 24, Blood on the Leaves, Chapter 6, Jaded etc. to break things up a bit here n there but still keep the vibe going
