Not that it’s becoming bad per se, some of the best artists are finally coming back. More of its just not giving me the same feeling it used to.
Like with this Cole album, I wanted to listen to it. Listened twice, I think it’s great, but I’m not coming back to it daily.
Then for example After Hours has been my most played project of the last year. My second most played project was Men I Trust’s live album. Played both of those projects religiously and still to this day. I find myself getting more excited for R&B and Pop than I do for rap. Like I don’t even want rappers to succeed anymore and that’s f***ing sad.
Edit: I think I’ve been depressed for the last year and so somber music has been my thing.
Good lord this site will scream "wayciiist" at you for anything, when will y'all grow up
Yea whatever clb soon just hold ur knickers for a few more months
just a few truss
Rap is terrible nowadays outside of Drake and Kendrick
Silence c**
the feeling will be restored when DONDA and UTOPIA arrive 🙏
i’m def not excited about it as i once was
i think that’s because of age
rap in a young persons sport, once you get older you fall out of love with newer stuff and stick to the older stuff + your favorite artists
Can’t relate man
Hip Hop will always be a part of my life
I've definitely started listening to more and more R&B instead of rap
